Let’s address the “How” of investing in Gold.
- We Indians are inexplicably attracted or attached to our gold. The most common and popular form of Gold investment is of course, Obviously – Jewellery. We either buy gold ornaments, bars or simple Gold coins.
- Another option is the Gold ETF, which is Gold Exchange Traded Fund. It’s something along the lines of an of mutual fund which in turn invests in gold. Furthermore, the units of this mutual fund scheme is listed in the stock exchange.
- The third easiest option for investing in Gold is Gold Fund of Funds. It is a Fund of Fund which will invest in Gold ETFs on behalf of you. A major advantage is that one do not require holding any Demat a/c.
