As the rainy season is approaching we are more concerned about our hair and skin. One drop of rain water can spoil your hair or can increase hair fall from 50-60 strands to 100 strands.
So here are some tips for hair in monsoon.
1.First and the most important is to do regular hair wash as it is a help to reduce the hair fall, oil scalp, dandruff, and roughness.
2.Apply conditioner after every hair wash. Conditioning is very important in the monsoon, as excess humidity in the environment tends to frizz your hair. A good conditioner will smoothen out the hair, making it more manageable and presentable.
3.If by chance your hair gets wet in dirty rain water always wash your hair with mild shampoo or baby shampoo whenever you reach home.
4.Always try to dry your hair with a towel. Try to avoid hair dryer as much as you can.
5.Try to avoid colouring your hair in monsoon season as chemicals will harm your scalp more than dirty rain water. Keep your hair as natural as you can.
6.Have a balanced diet full of nutrient and protein. Protein is the most important nutrient for healthy hair. Eat food rich in proteins like eggs, carrots, whole grains, dark green veggies, kidney beans, nuts, low-fat dairy products etc.
7.Do the oiling of the hair twice in a week to keep your hair healthy. Give the proper massage to your hair.
8.Try a loose bun, or try and keep your hair loose or even a loose side ponytail and protect your hair from humidity.
