How To Do Facial At Home?

Cleanse:

Cleansing is the first step to start facial at home. Cleansing removes dirt, excess oil, and other residues which reside on your skin. You can use a home-made cleanser and can also purchase from the market.

Natural Oil Cleanser: Combine 1 Tbsp plain of Greek yogurt with 2 tsp of olive oil and 1/2 tsp of lemon oil. Massage it over the skin, then immediately wipe it off with a washcloth soaked in tepid water. Use daily. Natural oils are the best facial cleansers.

Lemon Yogurt Cleanser: Mix 1 tbsp of natural yogurt, with 1 tsp of lemon juice and 2 drops of lemon oil. Apply the mixture using a cotton pad. This mixture is also an effective makeup remover.

Exfoliate:

Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, but it also unclogs the oil and dirt that lives in your pores and causes breakouts.

Sweet Oatmeal Scrub: Mix 2 tablespoons of finely ground oatmeal, with 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of almond oil, and 1 teaspoon of nutmeg. Apply the mixture on the face, and gently scrub in a circular motion.

Sugar Lip Scrub: Mix two tbsp of sugar with honey, make a consistent paste and apply it to your lips. Rub it and leave on for few minutes then rinse.

Tone:

A toner removes all residue after exfoliating. It mainly helps restore the natural PH balance of the skin. This step can also be repeated before moisturizing. Avoid around the eyes area.

Steamer:

The process of steaming can help open pores, and primes the skin for deep cleaning.

Green Tea Steam: In a large pot, boil 1 quart of distilled water. Add an herbs oil of your choice (chamomile, eucalyptus, lavender or green tea). Mix four tbsp of the oil in water, add six tbsp of chopped ginger, boil, cover your head with a towel and steam your face. Keep a safe distant, and do not exceed 5 minutes of steaming.

Mask:

A natural mask or a home-made mask is a good treatment that restores revitalizes and heals the skin. It is usually rich in natural nutrients (vitamins, antioxidants & natural acids). Moisturizer:

Moisturizer is the last and most important step. Moisturizing the skin prevents aging, protects as well as hydrates the skin. Massage with the cream on your face for around 10-15 min. so that open pores can absorb the cream and give you glowing and shiny skin.
